Alice's 'Tea Party' Chess Set

A Classic Game with a Classic Theme

This Alice Set is based on Lewis Carrol's tale of Alice in Wonderland. The pieces are cast in a heavy poly resin and the board in fiberglass. These materials lend durability to the set.

The shortest figurine stands 4in. tall (the caterpillar) up to the tallest at 5.25in. tall (Alice).

The board size is 24 in. by 24 in.


	This set's theme is Black & White vs. Color. We chose this for several reasons for one it's going back to the classic feel of B&W. Another the sides do not compete for your attention, which allows for ease of play.

The board has many details that stem from the book. For Instance we've carried the tea party theme around the board by placing cups and saucers on top and teapots on the corners.

On each side the card suits are carved in the stone. And rose vines wrap around the outside.

Each of the 4 corners has a teapot which holds a little mouse. When removed taper candles fit into each of the corners.
